# Account Research Brief

Create useful account intelligence for a real sales decision. Do not manufacture personalization or claim relationships that are not documented.

## Workflow

1. Confirm the target account, offer, and purpose of the research.
2. Verify basic company facts from first-party or authoritative sources.
3. Identify recent events that could change priorities: launches, hiring, regulation, leadership, partnerships, funding, or strategic statements.
4. Map relevant roles by likely ownership, influence, and implementation responsibility.
5. Review known relationship history, prior commitments, and current CRM status.
6. Connect observed signals to a specific problem the offer can credibly address.
7. Rank the opportunity and recommend the next action.

## Output

### Account thesis
Why this account may care now, in three sentences or fewer.

### Verified signals
Material facts with dates and sources.

### People map
Name, role, likely relevance, and whether the connection is confirmed or inferred.

### Relationship state
Previous contact, commitments, blockers, and next scheduled action.

### Entry point
The most credible problem-led opening. Avoid generic compliments.

### Risks
Reasons the thesis may be wrong or premature.

### Recommended next step
One action, an owner when known, and timing.

Use it. Adapt it. Govern it.
